Red Dawn's Patriot
Pate's hips are OFA Good prelim. Pate works each day with his dad Jake herding Cattle for a living. Letter from owner Jake on 10/20/02 Patriot is doing great. I just call him Pate for short. So far everything if going good. He's with me all day and is constantly on the go. I've had him on cattle every day- he's a great herding dog. He's a bit of a sucker for treats. There is a stockdog club that I'm joining this winter (2002) and then I'll get him really started in training. The guys in this club only do cowdog competitions and take dogs down to the Red Bluff Bull Sale every year. They all pretty good guys and will help out a bunch. Thanks again, Jake   
Patriot is super sweet, outgoing and loves to please. Patriot is a very food motivated boy, so training is a cinch. He is a great cattle herding dog- looks like he'll make it as a trial dog too. He works every day on a cattle ranch. He retrieves and enjoys tug-of-war. Very ball motivated. His conformation is quite nice, he's a clean mover and stacks up well.  
Overall, Patriot is easy to get along with. He's easy going in the off time, and full of spunk when training. He's a pleaser, just like his mommy Alli. He is a black tri border collie born July 5. 2002. Parents are Alli Cat and Conformation Champion Alamar's Spur both black tri. |
