Katie is the newest addition to Red-Dawn Border Collies. She was born
December 25, 2001. She is a black & white (she carries dilute/blue),
long coat, 35# and 18" tall border collie female. Katie is very
affectionate, fantastic with all people,
great around other pets, loves to play tug & retrieve. She is also
laid back in the house and a very easy to live with dog.
Her handler sums up Katie in just one word, "Agreeable".
She has just started her show carrier with
handler Brian Livingston. Katie got 2 points and a Best of Breed
at her first show in December 2005 and she got a 3 point major in
March 2006. We took time off and started back showing fall of 2006 on a
limited basis, handle by mom, Alicia. Katie finished her championship
January 2007.
Katie's dad is CH Castlewalk BLackwatch Niklas, OFA Good Hips &
Elbows. His father is CH Trumajuk Tatan Scott and mother is Castlewalk
Joly Good of Delsol. All 4 of Niklas' siblings are Champions, they
are: CH Bayshore's Black By Demand, CH Bayshore's Indiglo, CH
Castlewalk Jolly Good Fellow and CH Valkyrie Jack of Hearts.
Katie's mother is CH Lochinbrae Oz Made Me
Forewe, OFA Good Hips & Elbows. Her father is Ch Clan Abby the Wizard
of Oz CD and her mother is Lockinbrae Lilly. She has 1 littermate CH
Lochinbrae Kaena Kai.
