Red-Dawn border collie puppies are individually handled and trained each day. They are played with, handled, socialized, crate trained and potty trained. Stimulating their mind at a young age helps ensure our puppies grow up to be very well rounded adults. Starting at 6 weeks old we spend time each day documenting each pup's development. You'll see the below Temperament Test scores for "Charlotte" showing her individual personality.

Our pups are Temperament tested at 6 weeks as recommended by the authorities. Using the results ensures you pick a border collie puppy with the right temperament for you. Volhard Temperament Test Scores (see this link to read the test & interpret the scores): This puppy was tested on February 15, 2006.

Charlotte is a high drive pup that needs a serious working or sport home. She's very easy to live with, has a nice off switch but VERY intense for toys and food. She is very athletically built, has nice structure like her Champion grandma Ember, should have a medium/ medium short coat. She should be 19-20" tall and 35-40# when grown. Charlotte is line bred on the Red-Dawn Irish herding line and is 100% working bred. Charlotte would be a great choice for herding competition, competitive agility, Frisbee and conformation. She is AKC registered and ABCA eligible.
