border collie puppy, Jack, blue merle color"Jack"    Blue Merle Tri , Male, born December 30, 2005

Red-Dawn border collie puppies are individually handled and trained each day. They are played with, held, socialized, crate trained and potty trained. Stimulating their mind at a young age helps ensure our puppies grow up to be very well rounded adults. Starting at 6 weeks old we spend time each day documenting each pup's development. You'll see the below Temperament Test scores for "Jack" showing his individual personality.

Our pups are Temperament tested at 6 weeks as recommended by the authorities. Using the results ensures you pick a border collie puppy with the right temperament for you. Volhard Temperament Test Scores (see this link to read the test & interpret the scores): This puppy was tested on February 15, 2006.

Jack is an outgoing, very confident, high drive, determined, strong willed border collie. He needs a home experienced with border collies, or other high-drive work oriented breeds. He would make a good herding dog and be very competitive at dog sports. He is affectionate with all people, social with animals and self-confident.
